When choosing my team and project, I decided to contribute to the Polyglots area because I wanted to take advantage of my ability to work with two languages. I saw this as an opportunity to apply my language skills in a practical context while contributing to an open-source community.
Additionally, I chose to work on translating WordPress version 6.5.x because it was one of the most recent versions available and had a relatively low translation completion percentage. This motivated me to contribute, as I understood that my work could have a more meaningful impact by helping improve the accessibility of a newer version of the platform.
Overall, this decision allowed me to align my personal strengths with a project where my contributions could be both useful and relevant.
